Post Office Box

I am at the post office with all my philly rejects. Some people like to rent a post office box to secure their mail. This person rented a box to store pens and green ketschup. I wish I had that kind of money.

New Year Dumplings

JR and I celebrated the new year by making dumplings for the remainder of the month. If you look closely, the filling consists of pork, shrimp, mushrooms, and cabbage. Aren't they darling? The dumplings below are ready to eat. With the extra dumpling skins, JR made fried chocolate dumplings!

Bear Talk

Ever since I got back from Paris, I have been rising to the sun at 7AM. For some reason, the 6 hour time difference between the east coast and Paris has set my time clock awry. No matter soon though, since work starts bright and early tomorrow morning.

One thing of note - the sun rises earlier in NYC than in Philadelphia, by approximately 10 minutes or so based on experience. It's because of the tilt of the earth in its rotation, resulting in a higher latitude of NYC in the northern hemisphere (I hope I am right). Go earth science!
