I ate all the Blueberries ...
And they were delicious! This is a vintage card from PostSecret (my favorite!), and how true it is. Fortunately for me, my local supermarket had a 2 for $3 sale on pints of blueberries, so I bought 4! Blueberries are high in antioxidants, but I wonder about the level of pesticides sprayed on the surface of the fruit.
Anyway, PostSecret started as a project by Frank Warren, to collect secrets anonymously and present them as an art exhibit. The instructions were:
You are invited to anonymously contribute a secret to a group art project. Your secret can be a regret, fear, betrayal, desire, confession, or a childhood humiliation. Reveal anything - as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before. Be brief. Be legible. Be creative. All postcards are decorated by the holder of the secret as a soothing way to release the secret to the public. Individuals worldwide send their secrets to Frank in Germantown, Maryland, but I think the best part about the project is that the confessions are simple, true, and easy to relate to. A friend recently passed her copy of this compilation to me, and I encourage you to read it, and think about sharing your own!
