I feel like I need money, especially with losing the Metrocard and holiday presents looming. I've already added Google Adsense as a sidebar, which is currently under review. So, let's talk about a couple of cool money making ventures:
Now I'm a hardcore searcher online, and I google everything and anything (though sometimes not efficiently) to get information I need. I once had a fruit and I tried to google something like "round purple cherry tomato with green insides" to discover its identity. No luck, unfortunately. And what's better than searching on google? Blingo, of course. Blingo is a google-powered search engine with a twist, where you get to win a prize with every search! That means you get google results, with an opportunity to win, win, win (up to 10 attempts per day)! Since I first heard about it in the summer of 2004, I have won 2 movie tickets and a $25 Visa card. I thought about posting a picture up of myself, similar to the one adjacent, but I thought that might be in bad taste. Other prizes include a TV, an iTunes gift certificate, and a shuffle. There current top prize to be awarded by Christmas is a car or $20,000! Before you start searching though, you should join Blingo friends as my friend, using the button on the right sidebar. Why join? :) If someone I invited receives a prize on Blingo, I get the same prize!

And forget about spending money for Christmas, the winter is time for hibernating and saving! :p I wanted to put my money into higher yield savings account temporarily, before opening investment accounts in 2007 (I didn't want to pay account fees for 2006). I currently have accounts in ING direct and VirtualBank, and referral bonuses are available for you and me! ING direct and VirtualBank are online bank accounts offering higher interest rates than your typical local bank. ING gives a 4.50% APR, and you get a $25 bonus with an initial deposit of $250 (I get a referral bonus of $10).
